Not a list

After seeing "Jesus Camp" and looking at CouchSurfing profiles I am feeling that if a person can put words together well, dramatically, those people can influence many others and be regarded highly, trusted. However, if there are problems making a cohearent sentence in the local socioeconomic paragidm that are understandable and decodable to the regional population, those individuals will feel excluded, misunderstood, not trusted, by the population.

Would you let me in your affinity group ? People do once they get to know me over time. But based upon my words alone or initial meeting ?

Why is that ? Do people get "more honest" over time ? If I were to be "untrustworthy", would that be different now or later ? It is still the same me.

Is that fair and open in a society ?

Do beautiful words make trust ? I think so but I think that is deceptive. Honeyed words are only a facet of a person.
