Dec. 20th, 2000

I unearthed some CDs today. I had spent some time in the Virgin record store in downtown San Francisco after the job interview (like I do not need another job). What a mad mass of people Union Square was.

Anyhows I went to the 'Al Stewart section' and could not remember which, if any, CDs I already owned. Old age forgetfulness? Or too much background advertisements and other noises?

After listening to these CDs from home, I began to remember why I went to college. I remembered why I wanted to study Slavic studies and why all of my friends were generationaly older than me. History makes my blood warm. I love the songs "Nostradamus", "Running Man", and "Roads To Moscow". It made me remember why I work at nights. It made me sad over what I have lost due to illness but somewhat 'gladdened' by what has been salvaged.
