Hello All,

This anti-nuclear bike ride through Nevada to New Mexico sounds great. It is starting June 19th 2005 at the Nevada Test Site and progressing to Los Alamos National Laboratory arriving July 17th.

More info can be found here: http://ride.lovarchy.org/

Peace

Edit:
The most often asked question I am receiving is "Why those dates ?"

The reason for riding on those dates can be found here and below.

"WHY THE SUMMER IN THE DESERT? ARE WE CRAZY?

Offering a prophetic witness in the desert CAN seem crazy to the mainstream, anything we do in opposition to empire will not be televised, of course, but we'll all be champion athletes by next summer anyway, right???

As a spiritually-oriented interfaith ride, we are aware of the human drive to commemorate certain anniversary dates, and the significance that has for the psyche. The first nuclear bomb ever exploded (2 billion USD) was designed by Los Alamos (as part of the "Manhattan Project") happened on July 16th at the tail end of a terrible thunderstorm in New Mexico. Thus, in calling for abolition, we gather on the 60th anniversary of this now-obvious attack against nature, life, and the planet.

US Nuclear Bomb Dates of June & July 1945 to 2003.

Other Historical Anniversary Dates during our trip."
