I don't know....

I was asked by daniela why did I choose to participate in fundraising against breast cancer. I answered that it seemed 'right', but on even greater reflection (as if I had not already 'reflected') it seems that; 1) parental involvement (a mom who could have breast cancer) was not the reason (does telling the truth make me a bigger a$$hole?); 2) patients of mine dying of breast cancer or recovering from surgery for breast cancer (yes); 3) the death of Judi Bari from breast cancer (yes); 4) seeing the positive interaction of people (young and older) who love their parents and get involved for reason #1 above (YES) were some of the reasons much closer to the mark.

Also reflecting again, this "time off" from work is supposed to be restful for me. Then why have I suddenly been having insomnia (typing at 03:43 am) which I have not had before?

Re: (no subject) from above and <cited text>
Thank you GardenGnome. Interesting overall response.

I am glad you had an exciting game over the weekend. I sent good vibes also.

Reading of your eloquently described experiences with Conner is a great joy.

BTW the above cited text referred to my generally resolved conflicts with my parent (sing.). I don't believe she has made or is making good decisions. She refuses treatment still. I unfortunately understand the why and the expression of her actions.
